Mirzapur 2 is the sequel to 2018 Amazon Prime Video's original web series Mirzapur .
Mirzapur is an Indian crime thriller web television series on produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani (Excel Entertainment) which revolves around drugs, guns and lawlessness.
Season 1 received mixed to good reviews from major critics . However , the audience response was completely different, as Mirzapur became one of the most popular as well as one of the most-watched web series in India .
The first part of the web series had an open ending where Munna Bhaiya kills Guddu’s younger brother Bablu and his wife Sweety, in anger and frustration. But somehow Guddu is able to survive with the help of his sister Dimpy and Sweety’s sister Golu .
After the first season became a instant HIT and was highly praised by the audience , the makers immediately started working on season 2 . Keeping in mind the open ending of Season 1 , Season 2 will continue from where the Season 1 ended .

Mirzapur 2 Release Date
Since the date makers have announced Mirzapur season 2 , audience have been eagerly waiting to know when will it actually start streaming on Amazon Prime Video .
Amazon Prime Video has officially declared that audience will get to watch Mirzapur 2 in 2020 itself .
Earlier , there were rumors that Mirzapur 2 will stream on Amazon Prime Video from April 2020 , which turned out to be false .
The shooting of Season 2 is complete and makers are busy in its post-production work.
The makers haven't officially announced the date yet but according to some verified sources Mirzapur 2 will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 14 August 2020 .
According to reports , the teaser of Mirzapur 2 will be released 2 months before it starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video .
