- Sooryavanshi was firstly scheduled to release on EID 2020 but was earlier pre-poned to 28 March to avoid clash with Salman Khan's 'Radhe : Your Most Wanted Bhai'
- Later , Sooryavanshi was further pre-poned to 24 March .
- However , as a result of corona virus pandemic , theaters across the world were shut down because of which the film could not be released on 24 March .
- Presently , the film has no defined release date . Makers of the film will announce the new release date as soon as the situation gets back to normal . The movie is expected to release soon.
SOORYAVANSHI to release directly on OTT ?
- Since , the goverment has shut down the theaters for an indefinite period , there were reports that Sooryavanshi will skip the theatrical release and release directly on OTT .
- However , makers of Sooryavanshi (Reliance Entertainment , Rohit Shetty , Karan Johar) have clearly stated that Sooryavanshi will first release in theaters . Film will be available on OTT platforms only after the theatrical release .
